Very Rare Set of Three Chinese Verte Glazed Porcelain Playing Fu Dogs

Kangxi period, AD 1662-1722

Description

Finely modelled with great detail; each in a separate and interactive animated pose. These are among the rarest types of Fu dogs to encounter today outside of museum collections.
Height: 5 ¼ inches (13.3 cm.)
Length: 5 ¾ inches (14.5 cm.)
Provenance: one from a private French Collection (acquired from Wannieck); the other two from the Conde Collection (acquired from our gallery).
