Unusual Pair of Chinese Porcelain Figures of Reclining Lohans

Qianlong period, mid-18th century

Forming a true pair, right and left.  Posed in reclining positions leaning on one arm, and the other raised and holding a small gourd.  Dressed in long robes, off their shoulders and tied at the waist and glazed in a black oxidized silver tone with roundels in gilt.  Their faces, well modeled with crisp features and displaying a gentle smile.  A very rare model.
