Of tall expanding form with trumpet mouth with everted lip. Decorated on each side with leaf, fan, and fruit shaped reserves filled with Sacred Antiques, all set upon a bright apple green ground with flowerhead and stippled decoration. In addition, the shoulder has Shou characters and a butterfly at each corner. All finely painted in bright enamels. With underfoot with a plain glazed recessed square in the center. Square vases are very rare in the Kangxi period, particularly in this color.
