Pair of Chinese Rose Verte Quadrangular Vases and Bases

Yongzheng period, AD 1723-1735


Each side decorated with a figural scenes taken from a historic tale.  All finely painted; the borders in black (also rare) and patterned designs.  Each with original separate porcelain base.
Height: 13 ½ inches (34.4 cm.)
Ex Collection: William Whitridge, Baltimore early 1900’s.
