Of wonderful form, each plump and with barrel chest and short legs; tail with open aperture at
the tip, and mouth holding a spout, with a trefoil openwork base held in its teeth. Their sides with raised swirl designs with chilin and sacred fungus set against a stippled green ground. Their faces have broad and alert features; and their mouths and wide smiling grins.
Of rare type and fine quality. Qilin were auspicious mythical animals that appeared in good times.
