Of classic form, each with a central medallion- painted in grisaille showing an urn under a willow tree (a sign of mourning). The profile of the base the urn has a secret design showing the silhouettes of Louis XVI and Marie Antoinette. The other side has a medallion with a scenic vignette. The urns otherwise decorated in relief with swags in blue, and borders with leaves and stars in blue, red, and gold; the bases in faux marble.

The hidden subject was based upon an anonymous engraving made during the French Revolution for loyalists as a remembrance of the deposed monarchy.
