Fine Pair of Chinese Sancai Glazed Porcelain Chicken Ewers

Kangxi period, AD 1662-1722

Description

Finely and realistically modelled, with lids in the form of a lotuses and chick.  Decorated
in patterned designs to simulate the feathers of the birds.  Of very fine quality and with great detailing
and deep color.
Height: 5 ½ inches (14 cm.)
