Fine Pair of Chinese Sancai Glazed Porcelain Chicken Ewers

Kangxi period, AD 1662-1722

Description

Finely and realistically modelled, with lids with lotus form base and chicks forming the finial.  Decorated
in patterned designs to simulate the feathers of the birds.  Of very fine quality and with great detailing
and deep color.
Height: 5 ½ inches (14 cm.)
