Chinese Blanc de Chine Porcelain Water Dropper

Kangxi period/ early 18th century


In the form of a Boy riding upon an Ox (or Chinese Water Buffalo).
Finely modelled in the full round.  The animal stands on all fours with head stretched out.  The boy sits astride.
With small apertures at back and front to fill and dispense water for writing and painting. With crisp features.
All glazed in a beautiful bright white.

Length: 3 1/2 inches (9 cm.)
